Position Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented and people focused HR Generalist to support our growing manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in creating a positive employee experience—from onboarding and payroll support to company events and benefits administration. Brief Description

Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Monett, Missouri
Reports To: HR Director

Key Responsibilities Employee Engagement & Company Events

Winning looks like: Successfully planned and executed events that promote employee interaction, satisfaction, morale, and retention.

  • Plan and support 90‑day milestone celebrations and employee birthdays
  • Order food, manage vendors, and oversee event logistics
  • Set up and break down event spaces
  • Maintain event calendars and track participation
  • Schedule events around production demands and multiple shifts
New Hire Onboarding & Orientation

Winning looks like: A smooth onboarding process where new hires feel welcomed, informed, and connected from day one.

  • Prepare welcome packets and onboarding materials
  • Coordinate and assist with orientation sessions
  • Support completion of I‑9s, W‑4s, and onboarding documentation
  • Enter new hire information accurately into HRIS and payroll systems
  • Assist with safety training coordination
Payroll & Timekeeping

Winning looks like: Accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing that builds employee trust.

  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll audits
  • Review timecards for accuracy and compliance
  • Support PTO tracking and attendance records
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of compensation data
  • Understand overtime rules, shift differentials, and wage/hour compliance
Compliance, Safety & Professional Standards

  • Support compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Assist with OSHA documentation, safety training records, and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Promote positive employee relations
HR Operations & Administrative Support

Winning looks like: HR operations run seamlessly with accurate records and responsive support.

  • Maintain employee personnel files (digital and/or paper)
  • Assist with HR audits and compliance documentation
  • Support policy updates and HR initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director
  • Respond to employee and supervisor HR inquiries
  • Maintain employee directory
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including scheduling and attending local job fairs and community hiring events
Benefits Administration & Open Enrollment

Winning looks like: Accurate and timely benefits administration with clear communication and strong employee support.

  • Assist with open enrollment planning and execution
  • Distribute benefits communications and materials
  • Support employees with benefits questions and changes
  • Coordinate with benefits brokers and insurance providers
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation
