The primary function of this position is to process parts in the metal and vinyl departments. The fabricator will be cross‑trained on various fabrication machines and must comply with all safety and quality guidelines.
PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Understand differences between operating small hydraulic die stations (notch, mash, saw, presses)
- Cross‑train in general category and one machine in the specialty category
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Complete daily paperwork and perform operator daily PM on tools and equipment
- Operate forklift if required
- Perform daily housekeeping / 5S
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- One to three years of related experience in a metals manufacturing department
- Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and interpret basic documents and safety rules
- Ability to count, measure, and use a tape measure
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Blueprint reading skills
- Proficient use of Tracker to pull orders
- Demonstrated accuracy in inventory and paperwork completion
- Commitment to facility maintenance through housekeeping
- Regular and acceptable attendance as defined in the company handbook
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- May be exposed to noise; schedule based on shift and production need
- Stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear continuously
- Lift and/or carry 10–50 lbs. and push or pull 25–50 lbs.
Position is onsite in Monett, MO. No remote work.
Day
Shift: 5 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday
Night
Shift: 5 pm – 3:30 am, Monday to Thursday
Overtime may alter days and hours based on business demand.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, aligned with industry and geographic standards. Possible bonus(es) at company discretion. Play Power offers paid time off, health insurance, and 401(K) for full‑time positions.
