Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software

The Staff Software Engineer works independently and may lead the technical design and implementation of new products or enhancements. The role covers all phases of the development cycle: concept, technical design, prototyping, code development, testing, release to QA, and implementation. The position requires cross‑functional collaboration.

• Conduct and may lead product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification, and resolution.
• Conduct and may lead system analysis and programming activities, delivering software into production timely, effectively, and with quality.
• Provide technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery through application retirement.
• Test and review applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Use best practices and standard guidance to create and modify code, considering impacts on end users and internal teams; review code from less experienced members.
• Work with QA to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality products; lead complex decisions, present options, and advocate optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams as projects require.
• Perform critical tasks and deliverables; set and update expectations on size, scope, and timelines.
• Lead the team in cross‑functional meetings and discussions.
• Create and review required technical documentation.
• Maintain latest industry knowledge and share expertise with the team.
• Adhere to documented departmental and corporate standards and help define and document standards.
• Lead unit and integration tests to ensure reliability, security, and performance; debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Contribute to product architecture.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Minimum 9 years of experience in software development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with C# or Golang.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APIs/Web Services.
• Experience with design patterns and/or SOLID principles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or other cloud technologies.
• Experience with APIs and middleware.
• Experience with multi‑tenant software platforms.
