Assistant General Manager

Smithfield Foods -  - Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in planning, leading, guiding, directing, and managing a large site.;
Train and coach supervisors/management to improve yields and labor efficiency.;
Monitor yields, labor, expenses and manage budget to contribute to the P&L.;
Ensure safety and quality compliance with OSHA/USDA and food safety standards; coordinate HR/Safety, QA, Accounting, Maintenance, and Production supervision.;
In the absence of the General Manager, complete or delegate all required tasks and responsibilities and maintain open communication with the team.
