The ideal candidate for this Instructor position will have prior experience teaching criminal justice at the undergraduate and/or master’s level, including distance education. They should demonstrate the ability to teach a diverse range of courses across majors, minors, and concentrations, with preferred expertise in law enforcement, forensics, and communications. The position requires flexibility to teach at various times and locations to meet institutional and student needs, as well as a commitment to maintaining collegial relationships with university personnel.
Preference will be given to employees who have served the greatest number of concurrent years in their current role.
Selected applicants must reside in the state of Oregon by the time of hire.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, or a closely related field
- 1-2 years of college-level teaching or relevant professional experience in the Criminal Justice profession.
