Talocher School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA / Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a HLTA / Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the school's policies and procedures.

Talocher School offers a broad and balanced curriculum, aligned to the Curriculum for Wales (CfW). Building trust, individual resilience, emotional regulation and communication skills is central to our ethos. We provide a caring and supportive learning environment for learners with ASD, ADHD and other associated Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Talocher School has on-site therapeutic Forest School provision, as well as Art and creative play therapy. We also have access to offsite vocational provisions which include, hair and beauty, construction and small animal care.

About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher
- Ensure that students complete the work set by their teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- A commitment to the educational development of students
- Please note:
you must have a full UK Driving Licence as you may be required to go off site.
