Alcohol Monitor

As an Alcohol Monitor with BEST Crowd Management, you support a safe, enjoyable environment at stadiums, arenas, and major events. You'll verify IDs, monitor alcohol consumption, enforce venue and legal regulations, and identify potential safety or over-service issues. Working as part of a professional, well-trained security and guest services team, you'll interact with guests, document incidents, and follow clear procedures to de-escalate concerns and report violations.

This role offers hands-on experience in security, crowd management, and customer service, with opportunities to grow within the Garda World network.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure compliance with laws and venue policies
• Verify identification to confirm legal drinking age
• Observe crowds, identify potential over-service or safety concerns, and respond appropriately
• Enforce alcohol and venue regulations professionally and consistently
• Communicate with security, supervisors, and venue staff via radio or in person
• Document and report incidents, refusals of service, and policy violations
• Assist with de-escalation of conflicts related to alcohol use
• Provide courteous, safety-focused customer service to guests at events
