CFO/Controller

Location:

Monroe, CT Salary: $100K-$130K base (DOE)

We are a family run civil construction company serving commercial, state and municipal customers. We are currently looking to add a qualified CFO/Controller to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have proficiency in Sage 300.

- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures
- Produce annual budgets and tracking results to those budgets
- Work with external auditors and providing information for periodic statements and tax returns
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
- Other related duties that may be necessary or assigned

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, active CPA a plus - 5+ years experience in a Controller role
- Proficiency with Sage 300 - Excellent management and supervisory skills & written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software
- Construction company accounting experience a plus

- Salary ($100K-$130K DOE) - Health Insurance
