Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Specialist Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

• Provide individualized and small‑group academic support in reading, math, and other core subject areas.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student achievement.
• Assist students with executive functioning, study skills, organization, and learning strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional supports as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify learning barriers and implement effective instructional practices.
• Partner with families and school staff to support student growth and success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student interventions and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Valid Connecticut Special Education certification, or other relevant credential as required by the district.
• At least 1 year of experience providing academic interventions and individualized student support.
• Strong knowledge of reading, math, executive functioning, and learning strategies.
• Experience working with elementary‑aged students preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology is a plus.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
