Behavior Technician

Behavioral Technician - 30 Hours

Responsibilities:
Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher Implement programs developed by teacher and consultant Reinforce daily living, social skills, receptive and expressive language skills Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs Plan and implement instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments Meet regularly with consultant, special education teacher, support team Attend staff meetings Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team Maintain student safety Implement behavior intervention plans designed to reinforce appropriate behaviors and eliminate inappropriate behaviors

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and/or Associates Degree Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills Highly motivated and self directed Training in behavioral therapy preferred PMT Training
