Job Description

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and professional violin teacher to teach part-time at the Creative Music Center in Monroe, CT
, named a NAMM Top 100 Dealer for 12 years. The role requires in‑person instruction, with the option to teach viola and other string instruments as a plus.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours. Both students and school staff value consistency, so preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience; a demonstrated love of teaching; experience working with young musicians; a robust appreciation for punctuality; reliable transportation; and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $32‑38 per hour.

Health benefit options and a 401(k) program with employer matching are available for all part‑ and full‑time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
