Senior Manager, Amazon​/Marketplaces

The Senior Manager – Marketplaces will provide oversight for all marketplace and third-party e-commerce initiatives, driving sustainable revenue growth, operational excellence, and brand visibility for Victorinox across North America. This role will support in setting the direction for marketplace sales, will partner to oversee high-value partnerships, and support cross-functional alignment to optimize content, technology, and processes that deliver measurable business results.

This role will be onsite for the first 90 days and then become a hybrid schedule of 3 days in and 2 days at home.

• Execute the North American marketplace strategy for Amazon, Walmart (1P), and other key third-party platforms, aligning with corporate sales objectives and global brand vision.
• Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
• Drive top-line sales and profitability through innovative SEO strategies, category expansion, and content optimization, ensuring sustained competitive advantage in priority channels.
• Data-Driven Performance Management
• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SEO, conversion, and sales performance, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Content Excellence & Brand Integrity
• Oversee content strategy, ensuring all product descriptions, imagery, video, and channel-specific formats are optimized for conversion, visibility, and customer engagement while protecting brand integrity.
• Operational & Process Optimization
• Lead the development of scalable operational workflows, technology integrations, and automation initiatives across marketplace platforms, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness to market demands.
• E-commerce Platform Oversight
• Provide strategic oversight of Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, B2B platforms, and vendor portals (Auto Quotes, Replink, etc.), ensuring they are leveraged to their fullest commercial potential.
• Lead negotiations with Amazon Vendor Management (AVM)
• Interface with Amazon Vendor Services (AVS)
• Organizational Leadership & Development
• Mentor and develop marketplace optimization talent, fostering a high-performance culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Desired

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree a plus in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce, sales optimization, or marketplace management, preferably in consumer packaged goods or luxury retail.
• Demonstrated success in defining and executing marketplace strategies that drive significant sales growth and market share.
• Supervisor or team leadership experience
• Expertise with Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, SEO optimization, and vendor portal management.
• Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with mastery of Excel and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint) and their application in retail/CPG operations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead diverse teams and complex projects.
