IT Support Technician

Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for both onsite and remote employees in a fast-paced environment. This role will serve as a key point of contact for end users, supporting day-to-day IT operations while helping improve processes, system reliability, and user experience. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

IT Support Technician's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
• Respond to support requests through ticketing systems, phone, and email within established SLAs
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and deploy IT equipment and devices
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and equipment setup
• Manage user accounts within Active Directory, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), and related systems

IT Support Technician's Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 4 years of experience in an IT support or service desk environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra, Intune, SCCM, Defender, and MDM concepts
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
