Responsibilities
- Operate vision inspection and measurement systems during production.
- Load and position parts for automated measurement and inspection.
- Monitor vision system performance and inspection results.
- Verify part dimensions and tolerances using vision equipment.
- Identify defective or out-of-tolerance parts and report issues to supervisors or quality teams.
- Perform routine system checks, calibration verification, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain inspection records and production documentation.
- Follow quality procedures, safety standards, and work instructions.
- Assist with setup and changeovers for different part types.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or machine operation preferred.
- Basic understanding of dimensional measurement and inspection processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or measurement specifications preferred.
- Familiarity with vision systems, cameras, or automated inspection equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

- Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards.
- Manufacturing or machine shop environment requiring prolonged standing, lifting, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift materials up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
