Electrical Supervisor - Commercial Construction (Monroe, CT)
Location: Monroe, CT (onsite)
Pay: $35–$43/hr
Must-Have- Commercial electrical experience required
- Electrical background (commercial construction strongly preferred)
- Ability to work in a field-based, non-tools-on supervisory role
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally in the Monroe area
- Contract-to-hire (conversion to full-time after 6 months)
TEKsystems is partnering with a well-established construction company in the Monroe area to hire an Electrical Supervisor. This role is best suited for someone with a strong commercial electrical background who is looking to step into (or continue in) a field leadership position overseeing commercial projects. This is a field‑based oversight role focused on coordination, safety, quality control, and keeping electrical scopes on track.
This is not a tools‑on position.
The Electrical Supervisor will work closely with project managers, electrical crews, and subcontractors to support and oversee daily field operations on active commercial job sites. Responsibilities include ensuring electrical work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule while maintaining quality standards and supporting overall project execution.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily electrical field activities across commercial job sites
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies
- Review electrical work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications
- Coordinate with electricians, subcontractors, and project leadership
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical scopes
- Identify issues, delays, or risks and escalate as needed
- Maintain site documentation including daily reports and progress updates
- Help drive a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
- Experience in a supervisory, lead, or foreman-type role OR clear progression toward leadership
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and jobsite workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with field teams and project leadership
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
- E1 or E2 Connecticut Electrical License
- Experience managing multiple crews or subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00–$43.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
