Staff Accountant

• Mission:
  Support the finance and accounting department by executing day-to-day accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Tech Stack: ERP and manufacturing information systems, Microsoft Software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

• Manage General Ledger:
  Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Support Financial Closings:
  Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
• Perform Account Reconciliations:
  Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Administer Fixed Assets:
  Maintain fixed asset schedules, record depreciation and asset disposals, and manage fixed asset inventory.
• Generate Financial Reports:
  Prepare financial statements, conduct variance analyses, and create management reports.

• Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience:
  
  1+ years of professional finance experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; possesses an analytical mindset.
• Bonus:
