Federal Work Study - Student Support Center Tutoring

Salary/Benefits: $10.00 per hour, maximum 19.5 hours per week. No State of Georgia benefits.

ResponsibilitiesTutoring assistance to students. Answering phone calls, making phone calls, assisting internal and external customers. Operating various office machines including shredders, copiers, telephones, and related equipment. Microsoft Word and Excel experience. Other clerical duties as assigned, completing errands on campus as needed.
Minimum Qualifications- Current student at Athens Technical College.
- Maintain registration of a minimum 6 credit hours.
- Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
- Current aid year FAFSA completed.
- Eligible to receive financial aid, enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours and have unmet need for an FWS position.
- Enrolled student in eligible program of study – registered for minimum 6 credit hours.
- Complete financial aid file verified by Office of Financial Aid.
- Strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks.
