At Piedmont Walton, a 77-bed community hospital with a 15-bed Emergency Department and 8-bed ICU, our Respiratory Therapists are essential members of a high-performing, interdisciplinary care team. Serving a diverse patient population—from infants to older adults—our RTs provide expert care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Our therapists work in fast-paced, high-acuity areas including the ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units, supporting everything from mechanical ventilation, intubation, and ABGs to oxygen therapy, EKGs, and EEGs. This is a hands‑on, high-impact role where clinical skill, critical thinking, and teamwork are valued every day.

• Performing patient assessments
• General respiratory care procedures and protocols
• Critical care procedures in adult care areas
• Blood gas analysis
• Maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties Preferred

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
