Piedmont Waltons Emergency Department is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment serving patients of all ages as a Level III Trauma Center. With 15 treatment rooms and a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team is committed to providing high-quality, timely care while emphasizing strong prioritization, teamwork, and professionalism. Nurses in our ED enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling through Smart Square, allowing for greater work-life balance.

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Qualifications:
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required
- 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
