Core Responsibilities Community Operational Support

Provide operational assistance to communities as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide temporary leadership coverage during Executive Director or administrative vacancies
  • Assist communities experiencing operational challenges or staffing shortages
  • Support Executive Directors with implementation of company initiatives and operational processes
  • Help maintain consistent operational standards across communities
  • Provide additional support during leadership transitions
Staff Training & Development (All Departments)

Support consistent training across all departments and levels of staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist communities with training for med techs and resident care staff
  • Support onboarding and training
  • Reinforce company expectations for professionalism, customer service, hospitality and resident interactions
  • Provide coaching and support to frontline staff when additional training is needed
  • Assist Executive Directors and department leaders with staff development initiatives
  • Support training programs across departments including resident care, dining, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and operational expectations
Leadership Training Support

Support development and onboarding of community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide operational guidance and coaching to leadership teams
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Assist leadership teams with implementing company systems and operational processes
Hiring & Onboarding Support

Assist communities with hiring and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in interviews when requested
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new employees
  • Assist communities during leadership transitions
  • Reinforce consistent onboarding practices across communities
Community Stabilization Responsibilities

When assigned to a community that is short-staffed, experiencing operational challenges, or preparing for survey, the Director of Operations Support & Training will provide hands-on support to help stabilize operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct an initial operational assessment of staffing, leadership coverage, and daily operations
  • Identify immediate operational needs
  • Assist in stabilizing schedules and staffing coverage
  • Reinforce staff training and company service standards
  • Provide additional coaching and support to care team when needed
  • Assist with onboarding or training of new team members
  • Support leadership teams in maintaining organization and operational consistency
  • Help communities prepare for surveys by reinforcing policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Communicate operational observations and recommendations to the Regional Director

The goal of this support is to stabilize operations, strengthen teams, and ensure communities are positioned for success.

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent travel between communities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Regular visits to each community
  • Extended stays during leadership vacancies
  • Ability to travel quickly when operational support is needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years leadership experience in senior living
  • Experience training staff in a senior living
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with Executive Directors and leadership teams
  • Ability to travel frequently between communities
