Position: CNC Operator
Shift/s AvailableD shift Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Essential Functions- Audit/verify process control documents for completion and accuracy.
- Enforce all organizational initiatives, including safety and quality policies.
- Coordinate training activities and audit effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot process issues to mitigate downtime.
- Ensure production areas are safe, neat, clean, and well organized.
- Coordinate changeover activities and audit for accuracy and accountability.
- Respect work hours, support production goals and timetables, which may require overtime.
- Utilize knowledge of ISO
14001 & TS16949 to ensure all associates follow procedures and work instructions. - Complete all production, scrap, and downtime reports properly and timely.
- Check product and component dimensions via in‑process inspection check sheets using various indicators and gauges as described in procedures or work instructions.
- Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements or appearance that may indicate problems, and address any abnormalities.
- Monitor change of simple parts and fixtures to facilitate changeover of product types.
- Visually and manually check for defects in product or workmanship.
- Ensure accuracy of recording of process equipment settings and conditions using equipment verification check sheets.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; demonstrated leadership skills required.
- Five (5) years manufacturing experience, preferably in equipment assembly or high‑speed equipment operation.
- Ability to read and write with sufficient accuracy to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Basic math skills.
- Manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
- Corrected visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
- Physical ability to stand and walk frequently, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Physical DemandsThe employee must frequently walk and occasionally stand, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, push, pull, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThis position works in a warehouse/production environment with some exposure to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually loud, and personal protective equipment may be required.
