CNC Operator
We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our team, responsible for overseeing CNC Lathes and Mills in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of a line of CNC machines, perform quality checks, and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Run and monitor a line of 3-5 CNC machines.
- Make necessary offsets and adjustments as required.
- Perform quality checks on parts using a plug gauge, micrometer, and calipers.
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance, including basic cleaning, changing coolant/oil, and greasing.
- Handle minor tool changes such as changing an insert or bar in a lathe.
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC operating experience.
- 1 year of experience with quality tools including calipers and micrometers.
- 1 year of experience performing offsets and adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of decimals.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 40lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with quality checks and operating CNC machinery.
- Ability to perform minor tool changes efficiently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
