Position Overview

Assistant Chief Nursing Officer / Infection Control (ACNO) – Full Time – Ridgeview Institute Monroe, Monroe, GA.

• Assist in developing, implementing, and revising corporate, facility, and Nursing Services policies and procedures within the guidelines of medical staff bylaws and regulations, while incorporating recommendations from executive leadership and nursing staff.
• Assist in reviewing the progress, quality, and effectiveness of all nursing programs.
• Assist in evaluating nursing care practices, formulating plans for new programs and changes to existing programs, and initiating or utilizing studies and research applicable to the development of nursing services.
• Ensure all Nursing Services programs maintain current departmental manuals.
• Maintain an active involvement and awareness of all patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Graduate of an appropriately accredited school of nursing, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse, and understands the principles of epidemiology and infectious disease in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with preferred experience in infection control.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Thorough knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and all applicable state and federal regulatory standards.

$93,000 – $110,000 annually plus potential quarterly and annual bonuses.
