Interim Clinical Manager, Labor & Delivery

A Georgia hospital is seeking their next Interim Clinical Manager of Labor & Delivery!

• An Interim Manager, Labor & Delivery, is needed to oversee day-to-day nursing operations throughout the seven-bed Labor & Delivery unit.
• The Interim Manager of Labor & Delivery will oversee a wide range of care including triage, labor and delivery, recovery, postpartum, newborn nursery, and gynecologic care.
• Key responsibilities include managing daily operations of Labor & Delivery, supporting staff engagement and quality initiatives, and strengthening nurse/physician relationships.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Labor & Delivery and/or NICU as well as supervisory/ unit management expertise. They must be able to quickly build trust with staff amid recent dissatisfaction over operations.
• Must be highly organized, patient focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Seeking a mission-focused leader who will be able to positively contribute to the overall growth of the department and will help to develop and grow staff members by managing staffing initiatives.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

• BSN is required.
• Active GA and/or compact RN license is required.
• BCLS certification is required.
• A minimum of three years of nursing experience including a minimum of one year of leadership/supervisory experience is required.
• NICU experience is strongly preferred.

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
