LPN/LVN School Nurse

In this role, you'll deliver one-on-one nursing support to a student throughout the school day, including riding the bus to and from school. Your individualized care will help ensure the students safety, health, and well-being, making a genuine difference in their educational experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia required
• Experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to fulfill all state and district-specific compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach
• Experience with bus riding or willingness to accompany student on the bus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing services, including health monitoring, medication administration, and assistance with daily care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Respond with professionalism and calm to student health needs and emergencies
• Support the students ability to participate safely and fully in school activities
• Ride the school bus with the student, ensuring continuity of care and safety
