Shift/s Available For This PositionA shift (Monday through Friday) 6:50 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.
Essential Functions- Performs predictive and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment.
- Maintains safe work areas and equipment.
- Complies with and promotes company safety policy, procedures, PPE, training, etc.
- Ensures all work conforms to local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Maintains Building, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
- Timely execution for assigned work orders and service calls ensures high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Maintains and ensures Plant Fire systems are always in good working condition to ensure Fire Safety for all Hitachi Astemo employees, visitors and contractors.
- Inspects all fire extinguishers on a regular monthly schedule.
- IATF 116949 knowledge preferred.
- 3 or more years of related experience in maintenance of production machines.
- Self-motivated problem solver with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentRequired to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas. Works on equipment that involves hazardous environments requiring protective equipment that conforms to OSHA regulations and some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust and noise.
