Pro Drivers is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. This Truck Driver position offers competitive hourly pay, per diem, modern equipment, and a mix of local and regional routes serving government agencies and metal fabrication customers throughout the Southeast.

Position Summary
As a Truck Driver, you will safely transport metal products to customers and government facilities throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee.
This Truck Driver role requires someone who can operate independently, communicate professionally with customers and receiving personnel, and assist in warehouse operations when deliveries are not scheduled.
Responsibilities

• Operate a Ryder leased Freightliner with Sleeper Cab and 48' Flatbed trailer
• Safely transport metal products to customer and government locations
• Utilize the Keep Truckin ELD system to remain compliant with Hours of Service requirements
• Secure loads properly and perform load inspections before and during transport
• Tarp aluminum loads when weather conditions require protection from rain
• Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and delivery documentation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and receiving personnel
• Assist with obtaining and maintaining security access requirements at government facilities
• Support warehouse operations when delivery schedules allow
• Manage daily activities with minimal supervision
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

• 48' Flatbed Trailer
• Automatic/Manual Rotation
• Keep Truckin ELD System

Schedule
Typical work schedule is 40-50 hours per week, with up to 60 hours during peak business periods.
Monday

• 7:00 AM start time
• Delivery to Savannah River Nuclear Facility in Aiken, SC
• Assist with BOL verification and receiving procedures
• Approximately 10-hour workday

Tuesday - Friday

• Schedule varies based on customer deliveries
• Wednesday is typically an overnight route utilizing the sleeper cab and per diem
• Flexibility often available on Tuesdays and Fridays
• Warehouse work available to help increase weekly hours when deliveries are light

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Card
• 12 months verifiable experience (within the last 3 years)
• Ability to safely secure loads and tarp freight when required
• Willingness to assist in warehouse operations
