Tax Accountant
Location: Monroe, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $60,000+ based on experience
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Review financial records, income statements, and expenses
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Assist with tax planning and projections for clients
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation and work papers
- Support senior accountants and partners as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 1+ years of tax or public accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and client service abilities
