We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Post Closing Clerk to join a mortgage title company. This role is essential in ensuring all loan files are accurately reviewed, documented, and delivered after closing.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional mortgage/title training a plus.
• 2 years of relevant experience (in mortgage, banking, or title industry preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Clear, professional communication skills (verbal and written).

What You Do:

• Review closed loan packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify that all required documents are signed, notarized, and properly recorded.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and investor guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver final loan packages to lenders, investors, or agencies.
• Track and resolve any post-closing deficiencies or corrections.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Collaborate with lenders, attorneys, and internal staff to resolve outstanding issues.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and archiving loan documents.
