Administrative Assistant

Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana

Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team!

In this role, you'll help keep daily office operations running smoothly while supporting our Early Childhood programs, families, staff, and community partners. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys staying organized, helping others, and being part of a mission-driven team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and recordkeeping
  • Manage mail, office supplies, inventory, and other day-to-day office needs
  • Assist with meetings, trainings, events, and staff travel arrangements
  • Provide administrative and data support for Early Childhood programs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential program and participant records
  • Help families connect with early childhood programs and community resources
  • Assist with CCAP and other family support resources
  • Support community outreach and family engagement activities
  • Assist with reports, special projects, and other administrative needs
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or related experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Preferred:

Associate degree and/or experience working with children, families, early childhood programs, nonprofits, education, or community services.

Position Details

Full-Time | Non-Exempt

This position is primarily office-based. Occasional travel may be required.
