Operations Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman
Salary: $145,000 - $210,000 per year
Job SummaryA growing electrical contractor is seeking a Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial, industrial, and mission‑critical projects nationwide. This role is responsible for overseeing jobsite execution, safety, workforce coordination, quality control, and schedule performance.
Responsibilities- Lead daily field operations and supervise electricians, foremen, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Coordinate manpower, workflow, material deliveries, equipment, and trade activities
- Serve as the primary on‑site liaison between project management, contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Review and execute work from drawings, specifications, and electrical plans
- Monitor production, maintain project documentation, and resolve field issues proactively
- Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and site inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and applicable codes and standards
- 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience
- 3+ years in a superintendent, foreman, or field leadership role
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and construction best practices
- Ability to interpret blueprints, one‑line diagrams, and construction documents
- Experience managing field crews and coordinating multiple trades
- Proficiency with Procore, Plan Grid, Autodesk Build, or similar construction software
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
