The Opportunity

Legacy Professional Services is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful execution of hyperscale data center construction projects.

Working alongside experienced Superintendents and Senior Superintendents, you’ll help oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure the highest standards of quality throughout construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to expand their leadership experience while working on some of the nation’s most complex and technically demanding mission‑critical projects.

What

You’ll Do
  • Assist with daily field operations from project mobilization through closeout.
  • Coordinate subcontractors across structural, architectural, civil, and MEP scopes of work.
  • Support project scheduling by monitoring progress and helping maintain look‑ahead plans.
  • Promote and enforce all jobsite safety requirements and safe work practices.
  • Participate in daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and planning sessions.
  • Monitor work quality and assist with inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and jobsite access.
  • Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and project records.
  • Assist with subcontractor scope reviews, field cost tracking, and timesheet administration.
  • Support punch list completion, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.
  • Build positive working relationships with project teams, clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction industry experience.
  • Two or more years of commercial construction experience.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and field operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades in an active construction environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively on active construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission‑critical, industrial, or other large‑scale commercial construction projects.
  • Exposure to MEP‑intensive construction.
  • Experience with Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
  • Experience assisting with quality control inspections and project documentation.
