Pay Range: $90 - $100/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
Key Responsibilities- Lead Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multiple contractors, subcontractors, and equipment vendors during installation and startup.
- Drive construction schedules while ensuring quality, safety, and project milestones are achieved.
- Lead construction turnover to commissioning teams.
- Review RFIs, submittals, construction documents, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure QA/QC documentation is complete and compliant.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Witness startup and functional testing of mission-critical equipment.
- Track punch lists, deficiencies, and corrective actions through completion.
- Support final turnover to Operations while ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Partner with engineering, design, commissioning, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance across all site activities.
- Critical Infrastructure Experience
- Candidates should have experience with several of the following:
- UPS Systems
- Backup Generators
- Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear
- Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear
- Transformers
- Busway Systems
- CRAH Units
- CRAC Units
- Cooling Towers
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
- 5+ years of Construction Management experience on Mission Critical, Data Center, Industrial, Power Generation, or Large Commercial MEP projects.
- Strong experience managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction.
- Experience with commissioning, startup, turnover, and operational readiness.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and mechanical cooling infrastructure.
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and field operations.
- Ability to review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and turnover documentation.
- Experience managing construction schedules and project milestones.
- OSHA safety knowledge and commitment to safe construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical facilities for:
- Data Centers
- AI Infrastructure
- Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Utility or Energy Projects
- Critical Healthcare Facilities
