PreK Teacher Ages 1-2yo At Prevailing Faith

Prevailing Faith Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing PreK teacher for our 1-2 year‑olds program. If you’re a self‑motivated, organized, and compassionate individual who values a faith‑based education environment, we invite you to join our team.

• Curriculum Development:
  Collaborate with team members to plan and implement age‑appropriate curriculum activities that foster toddlers’ curiosity and foundational learning.
• Parent Communication:
  Maintain regular, positive communication with parents to discuss children’s growth, achievements, and address any concerns.
• Role Modeling:
  Actively participate in activities, demonstrating positive behaviors, and supporting an engaging, interactive environment.
• Safety & Cleanliness:
  Keep the classroom clean, safe, and welcoming by performing routine housekeeping and setting up/cleaning up as needed.
• Incident Reporting:
  Document and report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs to the Director promptly.
• Compliance & Licensing:
  Follow all childcare licensing requirements, including mandated reporting procedures.
• Professional Development:
  Attend relevant training to stay updated on early childhood education best practices.

• Education:
  
  CDA (Child Development Associate) or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development (required).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year working with young children in a classroom setting. Previous experience in early childhood management is a plus.
• Skills:
  
  Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for communication and documentation.
• Certification: CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Other Requirements:
  Reliable, punctual, and capable of upholding our Christian values and mission.
