Blayze Group is partnering with a top tier general contractor to appoint a Scheduling Engineer into its major projects group, supporting a single, landmark data centre development valued in excess of $10 billion in Monroe, Louisiana. This is a flagship programme with long term capital backing, executive level oversight, and delivery standards that reflect its scale.
The Role- Develop and manage CPM based schedules for a $10 billion plus data centre project from early planning through commissioning and turnover
- Build and maintain logic driven baseline schedules across engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration, delivery, and site installation
- Work closely with senior project leadership, vendors, and fabrication partners to validate sequencing and contractual milestones
- Monitor critical path, float consumption, and forecasted completion dates across multiple parallel work streams
- Produce look ahead schedules, baseline comparisons, and executive level reporting used for decision making
- Perform time impact analysis and support change and event management on high value scope shifts
- Identify schedule risk early and contribute to recovery and mitigation strategies
- Engage with VDC, preconstruction, procurement, commissioning, and construction teams to maintain full schedule alignment
- Conduct site walk throughs to validate progress against planned performance
- Minimum 4 years experience in construction scheduling on large scale, high value projects
- Demonstrated exposure to projects valued in the hundreds of millions or billions
- Experience with in data centres, mission critical, industrial, or major commercial construction strongly preferred
- Advanced Primavera P6 capability with strong command of CPM logic and schedule integrity
- Experience analysing schedule quality, risk, and feasibility, not just maintaining activity lists
- Ability to interpret contract documents, scopes of work, and drawings on complex programs
- Confident communicator capable of discussing schedule risk with senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable operating in environments where accuracy matters
- Candidates whose experience is limited to low value projects or simplified schedules are unlikely to align.
