Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a Commissioning Manager with at least 8+ years of experience commissioning large, technical projects, preferably Mission Critical.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning and validation certification of project systems, including the turnover package.
- Deploying full commissioning plans for all MEP systems that identify and define test requirements, required inspections, factory start‑up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.
- Day‑to‑day management of the commissioning process and commissioning team for large data center projects.
- Use of technology; BIM
360 used to track all items. - Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and integration with mechanical/electrical/building systems.
- Good understanding of test and balance requirements.
- Good understanding of direct controls installations/integration (PLC controls).
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a MEP coordinator, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Flexible, detail‑oriented team player with ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to run complex meetings, issue minutes promptly and follow up for deliverables.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and possessing leadership skills.
- Excellent listening, strong communication, and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and schedule planning.
- Strong work ethic and “can‑do” attitude.
