Patient Care Coordinator

This role is centered around helping patients understand the importance of dental care, explainingtreatment options, and coordinating financial arrangements for treatment. Responsibilities also include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, processing patients’ insurance claims, verifying patients’information, handling in-bound and out-bound calls, and processing payments for treatment.

We are looking for someone who is positive, out-going, goal-driven, and customer service oriented. Healthcare, sales or insurance claim processing experience are a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:
Based upon experience and competitive with market.

Duties Include:

• Review patients’ accounts to determine accurate amount to collect for treatment.
• Handle in-bound and out-bound calls.
• Ensuring that all patients’ questions and issues are resolved properly and quickly
• Input patient information into Open Dental
• Ensure an exceptional patient experience by greeting patients, sending thank you cards, and ensure patients receive patient gifts according to company policies
• Create and present treatment plans to patients

Schedule:

• Monday Through Friday
• Some Saturday Availability (generally 1-2 per month from 8-2pm)

Experience:

• We are willing to do on the site training for the right candidate!
• Experience with Open Dental a plus!
• Prior health care or dental experience a plus!
