A Clinical Quality Analyst 1 within our health system will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care. This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical individual who can support the health system's quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
ResponsibilitiesData Analysis:
Collect, compile, and analyze data related to patient outcomes and quality of care. Utilize various data sources such as electronic health records (EHRs), patient surveys, and clinical databases.
Reporting:
Generate detailed reports that summarize findings, highlight trends, and provide recommendations for quality improvement initiatives.
Performance Measurement:
Assist in the development and implementation of performance measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Quality Improvement Initiatives:
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement quality improvement projects. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track the effectiveness of interventions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, management, and external agencies. Prepare presentations and deliver them to diverse audiences.
Compliance:
Ensure that all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Maintain thorough documentation of quality improvement activities and outcomes.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in healthcare quality improvement and data analysis. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

QualificationsEducation:
Associates’ degree in Nursing or Allied Health.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years related experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a role related to quality improvement or data analysis, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
