Level I: $12.74/hour Level II: $13.59/hour Level III: $14.81/hour
Level Qualifications
Level I. Prefer high school diploma or GED.
Level II. High school diploma or GED minimum of one year of paid experience in custodial work.
Level III. High school diploma or GED minimum of three years of paid experience in custodial work.

Basic Qualifications
Must meet Level I qualifications. Ability to plan and organize work efficiently; self-motivated with ability to work without direct supervision; writing skills; general understanding of the needs of low-income families; ability to relate well with people; must have valid driver's license with safe driving record and automobile with adequate insurance coverage for use on the job. Must pass drug screen and background check.

Position Details (This is a sampling of duties and responsibilities of this position)
Provide maintenance/custodial duties in offices, classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and general space (gym, halls, outside areas, etc.) in assigned areas and other sites as requested. Maintenance/custodial duties include but are not limited to:
Maintenance and repair of HS/EHS facilities, monitoring heating system, sweeping and mopping floors, strip and wax floors yearly, keeping all bathrooms clean, cleaning windows and seeing that the center is kept in a neat and clean manner and setting up rooms for staff and parent training sessions and other meetings. Responsible for securing the assigned facility as needed/requested. Outside duties include, but are not limited to, keeping grounds free of weeds on playgrounds, sidewalks, driveway, parking lots and clear of debris, mowing grass and keeping walkways clear in bad weather.
Rake and measure mulch ensuring proper depth. Plan and perform day-to-day operations with minimum supervision at assigned facility; i.e.: daily cleaning of all sinks, toilets and wipe all items that can be touched, such as door knobs, dispensers, etc. Check soap dispensers, paper towels, toilet paper and replenish as needed. Empty trash and place in outside dumpster. Clean classrooms and offices.
Check to ensure all areas are neat and clean, especially the entry ways and halls, which needs to be cleaned daily and as needed throughout the day. Deliver supplies to centers when requested/assigned by supervisor. Keep custodial work space clean and organized. Assist with the maintenance of program vehicles and program equipment when requested/assigned. Assist with special activities, including parent, family and community engagements, as requested/assigned by supervisor as in sitting up rooms with chairs and tables.
Clean up after event, take down chairs and tables and store properly. Submit reports as required. Responsible for keeping accurate inventory at work-site and other centers when requested. Filling center supply orders and deliver to centers as requested.
