Louisiana Cat has been proud to represent Caterpillar® for 4 generations, serving customers with high‑quality Cat® equipment, service, and parts since 1933. We are looking for a high‑energy, ambitious candidate to join our growing operations.

Yearly range: $60,000 - $120,000

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all components of heavy equipment, including electrical systems, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, power generation, and power trains.
• Remove and install heavy‑equipment engine components according to Caterpillar standards and technical service manuals.
• Understand Caterpillar exchange‑parts process and perform financial cost analysis of repairs for customers.
• Create, track, and formalize work‑order documents on Caterpillar customer‑service report software systems.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior technical training in heavy machinery or equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must own required tool inventory (tooling program discussed during interview).
• Strong customer‑service skills, professional demeanor, and a “safety‑first” mentality.

• Shift: 12‑hour days; some weekend; variety of shifts (specifics discussed with interview).
• Requires physical movement.
