Job Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day‑to‑day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of a commercial project.

- Oversee commercial projects within core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial.
- Collaborate closely with all project team members, executives, and regional leadership.
- Manage all project team members, including senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator.
- Mentor, develop, and train project engineers for fast‑paced growth.
- Maintain detailed, hands‑on knowledge of project scope.
- Control costs, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports.
- Serve as the key point of contact with owner and architect.
- Challenge and support jobsite and self‑perform work teams.
- Accountable for project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
This position is salaried. The role is 100% on‑site; the candidate can be based in any location where DPR has an office. Weekly travel to the project location in Monroe, LA is required. Competitive per diem and travel incentives are offered.
