Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax is seeking a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to drive efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across our energy generation and supply operations. Reporting into Executive Leadership within the Energy & Utilities sector, you will design and execute optimization strategies spanning plant performance, fuel and logistics, trading interfaces, and customer value. Using advanced analytics and continuous improvement methods, you’ll reduce cost, carbon, and risk while enhancing reliability.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, commercial, and operations teams and lead a high‑performing team that reflects Drax’s inclusive, purpose‑driven culture focused on a zero‑carbon energy future.
