About the Role:

OCM is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Blending Technician to join our manufacturing team in Monroe, LA. This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring our products are crafted to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor blending equipment to mix materials according to established formulas and specifications
  • Measure, weigh, and document raw materials accurately prior to blending
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the blending process to ensure product consistency
  • Maintain detailed batch records and production logs in compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Clean, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance on blending equipment
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality issues to supervisors
  • Follow all safety protocols, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements on the production floor
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus
  • Prior experience in a blending, mixing, or manufacturing production environment preferred
  • Ability to read and follow formulas, work orders, and standard operating procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and accuracy
  • Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and calculating material quantities
  • Familiarity with GMP, safety regulations, and proper PPE usage
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
