Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Maintenance experience and/or technical training is a plus
- Spanish-speaking ability is helpful
- Previous manufacturing, production, or quality experience preferred
- Ability to read and execute production paperwork
- Basic computer, math, reading, and comprehension skills required
- Assist in the manufacturing process of molded products
- Prepare molds for production runs
- Read and execute production paperwork accurately
- Read tape measures and resin scales
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the department
- Operate hand tools including drills and drivers
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
- Work in elevated temperature environments throughout the shift
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Molding Technician.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
