Full-Time Pre Op RN - No weekends, no holidays and no call!

We are currently seeking a FT Pre Op RN to join our dynamic team. As a Preoperative and PACU RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the perioperative process, from preoperative assessment to post-anesthesia care.

• Perform preoperative assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical assessments.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience; perioperative or Pre Op experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Demonstrated longevity in past roles.
