ResponsibilitiesThis job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward achieving unit and department goals;
demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for own practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.Perform essential duties satisfactorily; follow reasonable accommodations as needed to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

EducationRequired - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required - None.
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
Skills and Abilities
(KSAs)
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and time management skills; ability to be self-directed.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment.
