Candidate must have a relatively clean driving record and have reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement paid for BUSINESS USE OF YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE.

THIS JOB REQUIRES CONSTANT BENDING/LIFTING

The team of Merchandisers are managed and supervised by the Area Sales Manager.

Work schedule will be communicated in advance but generally starts between 7 and 8am and ends between 1:30 and 4pm but typically DOES NOT exceed 40 hours weekly.

Holiday work schedules will be communicated in advance.

Merchandisers will start a later work day than delivery team in order to achieve a later pull up schedule.

Required to follow a daily structured account list and structured rotation frequency.

Responsible for the inventory and rotation of product in their assigned accounts (incl. back stock, warm shelf, displays and cold shelf) and notifying appropriate personnel of potential freshness issues.

Responsible for repairing damaged product and/or packages in these accounts.

Execute duties in which the supervisor has communicated.

Maintain company vehicle in clean and organized condition as well as routine maintenance with schedule.

Maintain a working relationship with store managers, employees and receiving clerks in all accounts.

Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Responsible for completing monthly training requirements.

Provide support for promotions and special events.

Comply with legal guidelines, safety requirements and all standards and policies of suppliers.

Ability to sit, stand, walk and drive.

Ability to lift and carry 10 to 75 lbs.

Ability to push/pull, climb/balance, stoop/squat/kneel, bend, reach, grasp and manipulate objects.

Ability to work in various temperature environments.

Operate electric pallet jacks and lift gates.
