State Utility Contractors, Inc., a heavy civil utility construction company with a 40-year history of success, is looking for an entry-level Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. If you're a recent graduate of a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic program and eager to start your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
* Perform electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting to diagnose and repair system faults.
* Maintain and repair equipment such as excavators, front loaders, skid loaders, backhoes, cranes, and other small equipment.
* Handle both in-shop work and field service road calls.
* Work independently to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
What We're Looking For:
* Completion of a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic program.
* A valid driver's license.
* Willingness to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
* Engine overhaul experience is a plus but not required.
