The Security Service Support Technician is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the installation, service, inspection, and maintenance of security and low-voltage systems including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance (CCTV). This role supports senior technicians and field teams while learning company standards, safety procedures, system functionality, and customer service expectations.#

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Assist senior technicians with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
* Support installation and testing of new and existing security system components
* Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
* Help perform system inspections and basic functional testing.
* Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, materials used, and job site conditions.
* Follow all company safety procedures, customer site requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper working condition.
* Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
* Travel to job sites as required.
* Other duties as assigned by management.

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* No minimum experience necessary.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if driving role.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical systems.
* Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
* Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
* Ability to work effectively in team environments.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
** Other Duties:

** Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
*** Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
* Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
* Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
* Use of hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
