Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Location:

100% on-site in Monroe, LA 71203

Schedule:

Mon to Fri, 1st shift: 6 am to 4 pm Pay rate: $20/h

Contract:

W2 under staffing supplier for 3-months (temp to hire, according to performance)

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure our production facility runs safely and at peak efficiency.

The Role:

• Troubleshoot & Repair:
  Fix production machinery and facility equipment (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Preventative Maintenance:
  Conduct routine inspections and log work orders.
• Electrical & PLC:
  Diagnose and repair electrical issues, drives, and PLCs.
• Safety:
  Maintain a hazard-free environment and respond to urgent repairs.

Requirements:

• Experience &
  
  Education:
  
  1-3 years in industrial maintenance. HS Diploma / GED. Additional training is a plus.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and MIG/Arc welding.
• Certifications:
  
  Forklift experience required (training provided).
• Attributes:
  Detail-oriented, strong problem-solver, and a team player.

Note:

Contractor is responsible for wearing their own steel toed boots, other PPE based on the task being performed will be provided to the contractor on site.
